If a construction contract contains a “turnkey” provision or a similar provision, the contractor independently undertakes to perform all necessary works for the construction and use of a specific complete object. In this case, the contracted price includes the value of all unforeseen works and excess works, while excluding the impact of work deficiencies on the contracted price. If multiple contractors are involved as contractual parties in the “turnkey” contract, their responsibility towards the employer is joint and several.
